BOTOX

Botulinum toxin (botulinum toxin type A) is a neurotoxin used medically in aesthetic medicine. By injecting botulinum toxin into the skin, the muscle fibers are relaxed, and their contractility is reduced. The effect of botulinum toxin is not permanent, the average duration of treatment with Botox injections is 4 to 6 months (although the durability of the results varies according to each patient).

Application technique

Botox technique involves injecting small amounts of botulinum toxin through targeted muscles of the area to be treated, creating their relaxation, and partially and temporarily inhibiting their movement. Botox is suitable for dynamic wrinkles, which are usually visible during facial movements. It is recommended to apply it to the upper part of the face (forehead, eyebrows, and crow's feet), but it can also be applied to the nose with wrinkles (these lines form on the sides of the nose when laughing), in certain areas of the neck, to do facial contour, lines of the lips, hyperhidrosis and other areas needed. To ensure good results with the Botox application, it is important to know the anatomy and physiology of the area injected in the face since the toxin is applied directly to the muscles responsible for wrinkle formation by microinjections.

This treatment prevents the formation of new lines of expression, temporarily relaxing the expressions that form them. Its function is to correct the deepening of existing wrinkles and prevent the formation of new lines of expression.

Do you want to reduce your expression lines?

It is recommended to use botulinum toxin, generally, in women and men during their mid 20s and early 30s years of age, with some exceptions in which patients present very marked muscular dynamics, or whenever its application is indicated for the treatment of specific medical pathologies such as migraine or hyperhidrosis. In any case, this treatment must be carried out by an expert who is familiar with facial anatomy so that by relaxing the area with the botulinum toxin, the correct facial muscle is reached, and the patient continues to maintain normal expressions. One of the significant aspects to achieve the naturalness of the results in the application of Botox is to determine the exact dose of toxin that will be applied in each area of the face, according to the manifestations that each patient presents.

To do this, BEAUTY IS YOU performs an analysis of the face, which consists of determining the muscle pattern of each of her patients since not all patients use their facial muscles in the same way, that is to say: each person gesticulates different way. This is a fundamental key so that the results are not exaggerated but natural and harmonious.
