In 2022, Mayte graduated from Nova Southeastern University achieving a Master of Science in Nursing Advance Practice Registered Nurse with the highest honors in her class. She is a board-certified Acute Gerontology Advanced Nurse Practitioner and has a vast experience of more than ten years in intensive care, emergency medicine rescuing patient within a 486 hospital, and currently works in a cardiovascular intensive care unit caring for patient post heart transplant and open-heart surgeries to mention few.
